This easy to moderate 13 night hiking tour through the Western United States allows you to explore the famous National Parks of the West on foot. The great National Parks you will visit during this hiking vacation are Yosemite, Bryce Canyon, Zion, the Grand Canyon plus Monument Valley. In addition you will visit the bustling Las Vegas & San Francisco. This guided walking holiday has easy to moderate 3 to 6 hours hikes, the guide will also suggest alternate shorter or longer walks if you request each day. We will allow ample time to explore each National Park over several day. Each night you will stay in mostly centrally located and comfortable hotels near the National Parks. Like true explorers you and  your guide will access the alpine by foot, carrying only a day pack while the packhorse carries the rest of their supplies ( if hiking to a camp ). US Rockies and the Grand Canyon - 14 night guided walking holiday

Let us show you many of the famous parks as well as wonderful hiking in the lesser known area s of the Rockies near Aspen, Steamboat and Ouray, known only to locals and insiders. Explore the majestic views of Grand Teton National Park, and the vast expanses of Yellowstone National Park, renown for its immense diversity of wildlife. Then you will explore the ancient ruins of Mesa Verde National Park, famous for its 1000 year old cliff dwellings, and Monument Valley, where we will spend a night under the stars. Last, but not least, you will cap off your walking adventure with hikes in and around the incredible scenery and breathtaking vistas of the Grand Canyon. We trek along its rim and descend into the canyon at Havasupai, where we spend 2 nights camping in the Grand Canyon proper.
